Nottingham LL Families,

With information regarding the increasing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) continuing to become available, Nottingham Little League (NLL) is committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our players as well as our coaches, parents, officials and fans. With this in mind, NLL has made the decision to suspend ALL league activities effective immediately until no earlier than April 6th.  This step is being taken to exercise an abundance of caution and is based on the closure of Hamilton Twp schools, the recommendation of Little League itself, and to be in alignment with the other little leagues in our district.

What does this mean exactly?

• There will be no NLL practices, games or any other activities held anywhere (at NLL or another location) for any of our rec teams until no earlier than April 6th.
• The NLL facilities (cages and fields) will be completely shut down and off limits for any and all activities by anyone or any team until no earlier than April 6th (this applies to all rec / travel / babe ruth team practices, any clinics, private lessons, etc).
• The following specific activities are known to be impacted—whether each will be cancelled or postponed is to be determined:
• Safety Clinic @NLL on Sunday March 15th
• Clean up weekend scheduled for Mar 21st and 22nd
• Opening Day ceremonies scheduled for Apr 4th

As indicated above, the suspension of activities and delay to the start of the season will last at least until April 6th but we fully intend to resume the season if and when it becomes safe for all concerned. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the situation and coordinate with Little League and other parties as needed.

We realize this is a disappointment to everyone and there are likely many questions. At this time we don’t have all the answers as the situation remains complicated and rapidly evolving, but we will do our best to keep our NLL family informed.
