To our NLL Families,
We wanted to reach out to you to share that we are following the orders from the state closely and we are anxiously waiting on the Department of Health guidelines, as well any provided locally, that will follow. Although we are full of hope, and have had several meetings in regards to contingency plans, we will not, in any way, prioritize the return of baseball over the health and safety of our players, coaches and families. We understand that this is a sensitive and complicated topic, and that everyone shares a different perspective.
So, although June 22nd is when baseball practices are allowed to resume in our state, the NLL Board will review the anticipated guidelines to make a decision on how, and when, NLL can reasonably abide by what is required and do so without impacting the integrity of the game of baseball. Until a decision is made by the Board that we will move forward with our season, all NLL activities will remain suspended and facilities closed.
In the meantime, please continue to stay active, safe and hopeful! We will provide updates to our families as soon as more information is available.
